The most interesting part is the neither I nor CK had any memory of seeing this bird cross the runway! There is real value to consistently filming and debriefing every flight.

Near Bird Strike
Following a recent flight, the obligatory video debrief took place. In searching for something worthy of posting, I was shocked to find that just before landing, we came very close to a bird strike. Since we were literally in the flare, I think it would have been survivable, though rather messy.
